We live in a world where people need peace, joy, hope and love. People are longing to find these things. People are seeking the stars, gurus and coaches to make themselves better. As christians we have the answer to hope, Jesus. We have the key to finding joy and that is fixing our eyes on our creator, we have peace because the Holy Spirit gives us peace. We have love because love Himself poured out His blood so we can free. We are His witnesses to the world so people can witness His love, hope, joy and peace.

When we get this balance right, when we stop thinking how the world thinks and we start keeping our eyes fixed on God, reading His word and praying the we become like.

Romans 15:13 (NIV)

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We find peace and joy, we overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Hope is something this world needs. Hope is what brings us to God because He is our only hope, He is our only love. When we start to live like this we radiant the love of Jesus, we have such a peace that this world can’t explain. How many times have you had a bad day and haven’t lost your cool and someone asks why, this is God working through you. You are overflowing with His hope because He lives in you.

I have to give a word of warning here, we have the Holy Spirit living in us. We have one of the trinity living within us which means we have God with us every second of the day. Please read this.

Psalm 45:1 (NKJV)

My heart is overflowing with a good theme;

I recite my composition concerning the King;

My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

Our heart overflows with a good things when we live in His will (Galatians 5:22-26) we overflow with love, peace, kindness. When we pray we use our prayers to shape to spirit realm, we can shape it for good. When we say good things to someone we are building them up, strengthening their spirit. We have a positive impact on this world and the people around us. When we overflow with wickedness and evil then we impact this world in a bad way. We hurt people and cause pain, we speak death over them  (Proverb 18:21) we have the power to speak life and death. When we overflow with this we tend to talk negatively and that affects us all, we speak illness over ourselves and many other thing. Remember our tongue is the pen of a ready writer, and God is always ready to write and He writes through you.

Be mindful of what you speak, think about every word you say because you have one-third of the trinity in you and He never gives up His authority so what you speak, God speaks through you. If you can’t imagine/find it in His word then really you shouldn’t be saying it, we’re all human and make mistakes which is why ever day is a learning curve and God helps us through. He teaches and guides us every day, He is our teacher and He will guide you how to pray. All you need to do is pray.

Seek Him and He will guide you and show you what needs to be done, you can shape nations in you bedroom and fight wars over souls never leaving the house. This is because God uses our prayer time, our secret place with Him, to build His kingdom on earth in the form of prayer. You are a general in His army and He wants you to command His troops and guide the spirit realm with your prayers. You have Gods authority living in you and He needs our mouths to speak it so He can release it in the Spirit realm, which will in turn affect or earthly realm.

This is a quote of a great general in Gods army, she is a woman of prayer, she wins souls for Him. She guides her team and walks out the gospel everyday. I have the great privilege to know her and work for her, she has always encouraged us to pray more. This quote helps me because we all get it wrong and God won’t fall off His throne when we do, He cares that we’re trying and He will shape us every day, He needs His church to pray. He needs you to pray, it’s a discipline and yes it’s challenging but this is where you grow and get to know God and His heart.

I know this is a lot to take in and digest, I just pray that you think about what you say and start to speak God’s word and promises over yourself, what He says about you is so much better than what the world can offer. I also pray you think about what you feed your heart because this will affect you and shape your walk with God. Set your mind to build each other up and speak blessing so together we are stronger. I pray that no promise of God will be left behind in your life, that every promise ever spoken over you will come to pass as His word never returns without fruit. God bless you.
