I’ve spent the last few days at a loose end, I’ve finished work and I have a few weeks till I start a new venture so I’ve been thinking. Which, is dangerous I know! but, I thought about all the things I say. I think about all the times I wake up after a great nights sleep to less than a hour later say “I am tired” and guess what I’m yawning later feeling really exhausted. I also have the tendency to say “I am clumsy” which then follows by me tripping or dropping something. I also say a lot of other things which are not always true but have become a habit that I have picked up over the years.

Prayer. It’s a topic that a lot of people find hard, myself included. We all know that when we’re saved we should read/study our bibles, worship God and pray. In 1 Thessalonians 5:17 it even tells us to pray without ceasing, Matthew 6:6 says when you pray go somewhere private and God will reward you openly. How can we do this? and how can we get God to answer? and why is prayer hard work?

I’ve been fascinated with eagles, it started with Isaiah 40:31. I wondered why God chose eagles out of all His creation, why not a lion? why not another animal? I since then have been looking at the eagle as an animal and they are magnificent. I believe we can look at the eagle and apply its special skills to our walk with God.

God wants all your heart, He wants you to trust Him to direct your steps through life, He wants you to stop trying to figure it out on your own and to leave your past behind you. He wants you to have faith in Him.
